7th seminar day 18.10

The first half of the day everybody had a task to make a business plan. Only rule was that there shouldn't be more than 3 person on the group. So out of 29 participants there were 14 different groups with 14 business plan. After lunch they were divided on a 3 groups were they presented their plan. Each group choose one that were taken to the big plenary in-front of the "Dragons" I was so amazed how creative and innovating all the ideas were. I can see many future business women and men. 6th seminar day 17.10

Started our day with early wake up as we had to catch early train to Worcester. Walk down from the mountains took almost 35 minutes so we are not looking the walk back up.9.30 we had cathedral tour. It was massive and beautiful cathedral. Now we are sitting in the Mexican restaurant Chester's  and waiting our food. As I mentioned earlier some of us weren't so keen to walking back, but we were happy that Nick came to get half of us. As there were 11 participants who didn't want to walk, then as responsible prep team members me and Marieke went with them even we did wanted to walk. :D

4th seminar day 15.10

4th seminar day started with one hour bus ride to the visit businesses. On the way there me and Ueli spotted few familiar places, like the gas station were we had ice cream last time when we were here on a visibility visit. The bumpy roads took us first to the Longtown, Christine Hope shop. Christine told us how she started the business and what kind of problems she has. She is hoping innovating ideas and solutions from us tomorrow.
After that we went White Haywood farm restaurant.
Pauline and Philip Goodwin introduced their business, and afterwards we had a lunch. Many people said that it was the best meal so far, but it wasn't enough for some. But the atmosphere was nice and cosy.

The last businesses we visited were Wiggly Wigglers an The Great British Flowers.  There we were dived on a two groups, and we had an excursion with Phil and Heather. Many of us found that the problems they gave us were very hard. But fingers gross that we will manage to impress them tomorrow.
After the visit we dropped by the gas station I mentioned before, and had an ice cream.  When we arrived back to the Malvern it was time for our re-group meeting. And I must say it again my regroup is the best, they are so positive and time with them every evening round the kitchen table is just a joy. For the social evening came local Herefordshire young farmers and organise us few games.  Evening at the bar was much quieter this night, but those who stayed had a interesting time. I think we all learned few "interesting" facts about each other.

3rd seminar day 14.10

I slept in! Made it to the seminar room when Chris was running session about how to make business plan. I think Chris had a very well planed session, and everybody seamed to enjoy it very much.  Afternoon we had session about Social media. The first thing what was asked was Do we have social media usage plan? Most of us said NO. It was very interesting workshop, but maybe too rushed. Would have needed more time.
After dinner we saw some black faced men with funny clothes and wooden sticks. They were Morris dancers who came to teach us some dances.  After the brake me and Jesper stayed at the bar room and prepared the bar for everybody. In some point we felt like we were under attack, everybody who came to the bar after dancing were so hyper and laud. Linnea and Kristian taught us a Swedish version of Oo Susanna.  Everybody enjoyed that evening very much. Link for the iPad users.

2nd seminar day 13.10

Morning started with pancakes, that was specially put on a menu because I mentioned on the prep meeting that, traditionally on Sunday mornings we eat pancakes in Estonia. :) I think this was a good surprise most of the participants.

After breakfast Marieke's re-group surprised us with Shark attack. I think Adrian and Gunvor were happy that at least for some minutes nobody was singing Fox song. :D

After giving a presentation about Rural Youth Europe me and Claire leaded a Fears and Expectations session. So there is quite many fears about blogging, lack of sleep and speaking English, but I think as the week will grow the fears will disappear.

After opening up to our fellow participants it was time to learn more about the countries and organisations that are presented here. I't was interesting to see different approaches to the task.  Especially I liked how Frederik and Emma were presenting Denmark, it was something it has never been used before.

After lunch we gathered for our team building afternoon. Nick and he's team guided us trough several team building exercises. Despite of rain and cold wether everybody enjoyed the exercises and said that they felt like a team.

International buffet - no comments needed :D
